Picture of Spatial Growths (Two Small Dogs) by Kurt Schwitters, 1939. Schwitters was a German artist who was best known for his collage work, (Merz Pictures). He began this composition in 1920, but he later added Norwegian material after fleeing Nazi Germany, just before the breakout of the Second World War. The collage includes receipts, tickets and newspaper cuttings.
