I’m assuming most of you have heard about the elderly woman who tried to reconstruct and repair the Ecce Homo fresco by Elias Garcia Martinez at the Sanctuary of Mercy Church in Spain. If you haven’t seen the results, click this link for the BBC article. Be prepared … the work is amateur in the strongest sense of the word! Poor woman though. Her good intentions have resulted in Christ resembling a hedgehog.
