The Golden Wall by Hans Hofmann, 1961. Hofmann was a German abstract expressionist who worked primarily in New York and Provincetown, Massachusetts. He opened several schools here and famous graduates include the artists Lee Krasner (Jackson Pollock’s wife) and Helen Frakenthaler.
